Maddy Adamczak
Maddy Adamczak, a senior forward for the Moose Lake-Willow River Rebels and a Northland Sports Online all-area player from a season ago continued with her outstanding play making and leadership on a young and inexperienced Rebel’s team this season. Maddy averaged 15.6 points a game for the Rebels. Maddy also reached the 1000 point milestone in February of this season against Polar League rival Cromwell.
Alyson Glumac
Alyson Glumac, a senior guard for the Eskomos, helped lead her team to the section finals against Braham for the second straight season. Glumac was one of the unsung heroes on this Eskomo squad that went 26-4 on the season. A speedster on the court, Alyson was usually assigned to guard the opponent’s top scorer and more often than not, she would shut down her opponent. Glumac shot 58% for the floor this season.
Katie Myhre
Katie Myhre, a junior guard – forward for the Barnum Bombers helped lead the Bombers to three straight girls’ basketball tournaments along with a section final appearance this season. Myhre, an All State selection in Class A reached the 1000 point milestone with a win over New Life Academy in January. Her long range shooting saw her hit 25 three-pointers over three games including 10 in a win over Moose Lake-Willow River.

Maria Burcar
Maria Burcar, a junior forward- post for the Wrenshall Wrens helped Wrenshall pick up their first win in over two years. Burcar helped to end a 45 game losing streak for the Wrens in a victory over Silver Bay. Burcar led Wrenshall in scoring, finishing with 507 points this season for a per-game average of 19.7. Burcar average over 6 rebounds per contest while shooting 45% from the field. Burcar also connected on 53% of her free throws this year.
Rachael Hoium
Rachael Hoium, a junior guard for the Hermantown Hawks helped lead her team to the section finals where the Hawks almost pulled the upset over the number one seeded Grand Rapids Thunderhawks. Hoium averaged 13 points per game for the Hawks to go along with 6 rebounds and 2 assists per contest. Hoium shot 45% from the field and also connected on 32% of her three point attempts this season. She also shot 70% from the free throw line.
Mary Neumann
Mary Neumann, a senior forward for the Hermantown Hawks helped lead the Hawks to the section championship game against the Grand Rapids Thunderhawks. Neumann averaged 12.5 points per game for Hermantown while shooting 53% from the field. Mary also connected on 42% of her three point attempts this season. Neumann was also part of a very successful volleyball team which lost in the section finals last November to the Eskomos.

Lindsey Dahl-Holm
Lindsey Dahl-Holm, a junior forward helped lead the Bulldogs this season. Dahl-Holm led a very young team on the hard-court with only three players that were either juniors or a senior. Lindsey led the Bulldogs in scoring, averaging over 11 points per game this season. She also led the team in rebounding, averaging almost 6 rebounds per game. Lindsey also led the Bulldogs in field goal percentage hitting 42% of her shots.
Kourtney Karppinen
Kourtney Karppinen, a junior guard for the AlBrook Falcons was a floor leader of this young and inexperienced team this season. Karppinen averaged 11.2 points per game for AlBrook while shooting 45% from the field including over 30% from beyond the three-point line. Karppinen also added a team high 103 steals for an average of 5.5 steals per game. Karppinen, an all around player averaged over 5 rebounds per game as well.
Lydia Pelletier
Lydia Pelletier, a senior forward for the Esko Eskomos was a vital part of the Eskomos success this season, helping bring her Eskomos back to the section finals against Braham. Lydia an all-conference selection in the Polar League this season will play in the Polar League All star game. Lydia shot over 50% from the floor while averaging over 3 assists per game. She also averaged over 5 rebounds and 2 steals per game for the Eskomos.

Keely Deadric
Keely Deadrick, a senior forward for the Esko Eskomos helped lead the Eskomos to a 26-4 record overall on the season and a second straight section championship game. Deadrick finished the season averaging 20 points per game; she also set the school record twice for most points in a game, the last with 41 in a win over Duluth Central. Deadrick also set the season scoring record with 600 points, breaking her record from a season ago.
Annabel Morrisroe
Annabel Morrisroe, a senior post player, finished her season with Cloquet averaging 14.1 points per game. Morrisroe led the Lumberjacks in rebounding, finishing with 194 on the season and a game average of almost 8 per game. With Annabel consistently being double and triple teamed by opposing defenses, she still shot over 50% from the field for the season. Morrisroe topped the 1000 career point mark in December.
Savanna Trapp
Savanna Trapp, a sophomore center for the Esko Eskomos broke the states all time single season record for blocked shots, amassing a total of 204 blocked shots on the season. Trapp also average 15.8 points per game for the Eskomos, helping lead her team to the section finals for the second straight season. Trapp also stepped up her offensive game, shooting over 60 % from the floor as the Eskomos went 26-4 on the season.
