  Over the past two weekends for you golf fans you have been treated to two of the best performances there are in golf. First Phil Mickelson winning the Masters with grace and elegance to become a three time Masters Champion, and on this past Sunday Brain Davis, who in a playoff with Jim Furyk called a two stroke penalty on himself which gave the tournament to Furyk. These two stories are far more positive than Tiger’s return to golf.

  With everyone having to do a bit more with a little less because of cutbacks associated with the current economic crisis, one cut the NFL missed occurred to me while watching Sunday’s football games--give all of the kickers the boot. By eliminating this position, the NFL could save a few bucks and the game would be better for it.

Last weekend, Augusta National Golf Course hosted the first of the golf majors. Those of you that watched were treated to some of the best golf we have seen in a long time. For those of you that know me very well I am a golf nut a golf fanatic you may say, the week of the Masters I normally log about 50-60 hours online, reading or watching on television everything I can about this treasured tournament.
