May 22 The Esko-Carlton boys' and girls' golf teams completed a sweep in the Polar League by winning dual meets to capture both titles. The first of the two meets was held in Cloquet at the Cloquet Country Club and the second was held at Superior National golf course in Lutsen, Minnesota. Read more

Apr 29 The Carlton Bulldogs ended a three game losing streak on Thursday afternoon when they picked up a huge Polar League win against long time rival Esko, topping them 9-2. The win also ended the Eskomos two game win streak and hands them their first loss at home this season. Read more

Apr 27 WILLOW RIVER- The Carlton Bulldogs overcame a four run deficit to topple the Rebels and end their three game win streak Tuesday afternoon. The Bulldogs spotted the Rebels four runs in the bottom of the first, but a big six-run fourth inning gave the Bulldogs a big Polar League win on the road. Read more

Aug 16 Many people know Dennis Korman as an attorney in Cloquet and Carlton County. Now, the people of Carlton will get a chance to know Korman as their high school football coach. Korman was named football coach just a week ago and will take over the reins this week. Read more
Korman To Coach Carlton Football
Aug. 12 NSO has learned that Cloquet attorney Dennis Korman has been hired to coach the Carlton High School football team this fall. The job became vacant when former coach, Scott Battaglia, took a job in Willow River earlier this summer. Korman confirmed his hiring on Wednesday night. Read more
Carlton's Bloom Commits To Northern State University
Apr 27 The Bloom family legacy at Northern State University in Aberdeen, South Dakota will continue for at least four more years. Katie Bloom, who will graduate from Carlton High School this spring, has signed a National Letter of Intent to play volleyball with the Wolves next season. Read more
