FDLTCC Football Team Members Sign To Play Division I Football

  CLOQUET, MN – Two Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College Thunder Football team members signed national Letters of Intent today to attend universities and play football at the NCAA Division I level next season. A total of six Thunder Football student athletes who will graduate from Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College this year will continue their collegiate playing careers next season.

Thunder Football Ready For Kick-Off Classic Game

  CLOQUET, MN-- With almost three weeks of practice and training camp activities behind them, the Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College Thunder Football team is ready for game action. The team travels to St. Cloud on Saturday, August 27, to open their 2011 season against nationally ranked Central Lakes College. The 8:00 p.m. game is the final clash of the annual Kick-Off Classic that features all of the teams in the Minnesota College Athletic Conference. The Thunder game will be held at St. Cloud State University.

  A Pair of Thunder softball player received individual post-season honors on Wednesday. Former Duluth Central standout, Lisa Muehlberger, was named to the MCAC All-State 1st Team in softball while her teammate, Hermantown graduate Anna Engelmeier was named MCAC All-State Honorable Mention.
