Sept 4 CLOQUET - The weather was perfect for a fall football game on Saturday when the Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College 'Thunder' opened their home season against Minnesota State-Fergus Falls. Thunder Football Kick Off Opening Day Practice
Aug 9 CLOQUET - Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College officially entered its fourth season of college football on Monday afternoon in hot and steamy conditions at Hilltop Park just across the street from the college. First year coach Keith Turner welcomed 38 athletes to the practice with temperatures hovering around the 90-degree mark as practice began. Read more
FDLTCC Name New Athletic Director And Coaches
June 16 CLOQUET, MN– Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College announced today the hiring of two new members of the Thunder athletics department. Keith Turner will fill a newly created position of Athletic Director/Head Football Coach/Director of Student Preparedness. Laura Sylvester has been named the Head Coach of the Thunder Volleyball program. Both staff members will lead their respective programs into the 2010 fall sports seasons. Read more
Mother Nature, Vermillion Beat Thunder
Oct 23 DULUTH - Mother Nature decided to make a statement on Friday night. With a howling off lake wind and a driving rain she did her best to make sure conditions would be difficult in Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College's 37-21 loss to Vermillion Community College. When playing with the wind each team shared an advantage, without it the complete opposite was true. Unfortunately for the Thunder, the Iron Men carried a much larger advantage during their time courting Mother Nature. Read more

Sept 12 CLOQUET - It took just three plays from offense for the Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College football team to score on Saturday against Minnesota West Community and Technical College. Logan Wells darted off right tackle and went 71 yards for a touchdown to help send the Thunder to their first victory of the season 25-0 over the Blue Jays. Read more

Sept 5 If the Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College Thunder football team is going to start winning football games this season they will need to find a way to avoid interceptions and stay more consistent on the offensive side of the ball. On Saturday afternoon, the Thunder dropped a 36-21 decision to Minnesota State-Fergus Falls on the road after giving up two interceptions for touchdowns. Read more

Oct 10 CLOQUET - At times, Saturday's football game between the Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College Thunder and Ridgewater Community College Warriors resembled a game of hot potato. Each team was provided with many opportunities, but each team squandered their chances until finally both scored in the final quarter with Ridgewater winning 7-6. Read more
