  Cloquet-Esko-Carlton opened the Section 7AA boys tennis playoffs on Monday against Duluth Central. The Jacks exited the post season tournament with a gut wrenching 4-3 loss to the Trojans.  The teams split the four games in singles play, but the Trojans went 2-1 in doubles play to gain the win.

While the goal is always to win the contest, taking two matches against one of the elite programs is a nice step for the young CEC team that has only one senior on the roster.
